Projects have been grouped thematically in order to map the full range of activities and draw out links and connections between the various works.
01 ON THE MOVE: Itinerant exhibitions
A series of events and exhibitions where the work has had to travel either before or during the exhibition.
02 AT HOME: Domestic as a site for encountering art
Many of this year’s graduating cohort have had to make work from home over the last 12 months. These exhibitions and events consider the home as a space in which to experience art.
03 DISCIPLINARY BOUNDARIES: The expanded field
Events, exhibitions and presentations of work that explore the edges of a discipline or specific media.
04 SURVIVING LOCKDOWN: Resilience and inventiveness
Exhibitions, events and presentations of work that respond to the current crisis with resourcefulness, invention and determination.
05 PUBLICATION: Not just a catalogue
Projects that explore art publishing as a site for making and disseminating work. These publications (both physical and digital) are made not as supporting material for an exhibition but rather as collaborative works in their own right.
06 BEYOND THE WHITE CUBE: Challenging gallery conventions
At a time when the conventional gallery system is being challenged these projects present new sites in which to see art and from which to critique the established models.
07 TOMORROW IS NOW: Speculative futures
The last few months have taught us that things can change dramatically and without warning. These events speculate on what the future may hold.
